Do people who live on benefits (welfare) realise how lucky they are?

Well in America, we get money and food stamps and medical insurance. Where I live, if you want housing, you have to get on a 7 year waiting list before you get it, so by the time you get it you probably dont need it anymore. I am thank ful for what I do get. It might be just enough to pay my bills, and for clothes I go elsewhere, but I am thank ful for what I have.
