Father/son - where did the love go?

My son has a way of persisting to answer back/ argue /pester when he doesn't like what he's been told. I can't blame it all on him- I've taken to yelling so I can hear myself over his nagging. Conformance can't be so important that our relationship suffers but it does. I need help. I am Christian, I do turn to my Savior and the scriptures - but I'd appreciate it if anyone can recommend some material/ resources that can help us to mend our relationship. I know I need to change first
