How many private-sector jobs are created by harshly raising taxes higher to fund wasteful spending?

I'd love to know all of the examples of "harshly raising taxes" in our recent history to which you are referring. Tax rates have consistently gone down over the past few decades and look at the wonders it has done for the economy.
